Frogs in Spirituality

In many cultures and traditions around the world, frogs are symbols of transformation (think egg to tadpole to adult frog), healing and prosperity. Encountering a frog is widely thought to be a sign of good luck, prosperity and abundance. And they really are just so darned cute, too! There are many specific examples of how frogs have found their way into stories told by various religions, indigenous traditions and popular culture. We will share some of those stories in future posts, but, for now, we think it’s worth reflecting, just for a moment, on the idea of transformation. Frogs do it and people can too. We can transform our mindset, our way of thinking, through life experience, through learning, through knowing and relating to and caring about others. In fact we do that all the time, without even realizing. So channel your inner frog and transform your casual wear with clothing designs that express the positivity and hopefulness that frogs convey.
